The project MeMoGa supports the labour market integration of refugees through mentors in the Region Saxony-Anhalt (Germany).
The aim of the project is to develop a mentoring-to-work model that improves the long-term integration of refugees into the labour market, and that can be transferable to other regions and similar target groups. The project focuses on the support of adult refugees with practical work experience but without formal qualifications, certified competences, or academic degrees. Through mentors, the MeMoGa project promotes contact between job-seeking refugees and companies as potential employers, and reduces distance to the labour market for its target group in general. In a pilot phase in the city of Dessau in Saxony-Anhalt, a specific mentoring tool will be tested and evaluated.
In the final report you can find also practical experiences and recommendations,.
This is a project of Landesnetzwerk Migrantenorganisationen Saxony-Anhalt (LAMSA).
